Jon Kabat-Zinn says: “Mindfulness means paying attention in a particular way: on purpose in the present moment and without judgement.” It is a type of mental training or practice which allows us to cultivate awareness.
This workshop provides attendees with the basics of starting and continuing a mindfulness practice.
Research suggests mindfulness has many benefits including: reduced stress, improved well-being, improved physical health and improved mental health. Organizations are implementing mindfulness programs to improve staff morale, improve employee efficiency & productivity, decrease human resource infractions and improve creativity.
