No Prerequisite: Recommended for ALL levels-beginners or advanced.
Have you always wanted to quiet your mind and never knew how?  Come and learn how to leave your stresses behind and quiet your mind.  This is excellent for your well-being, stress reduction, and to kick start a depressed immune system.
Start your month off right with Monday Meditation~ offered the 1st Monday of every month.
Each month is a new workshop and a new journey within your mind on your guided meditation.
The class will include a discussion on furthering your meditation practice and a guided meditation to:
  • promote balance
  • release stress
  • balance your chakras
  • meet your spirit guides
if you are open to it.

Introduction to Mindfulness (4 week workshop)

'Mindfulness means paying attention in a particular way: on purpose in the present moment and without judgement' (Kabat-Zinn, 1990). Mindfulness is a type of mental training which allows us to cultivate awareness.
This workshop provides attendees with the basics of starting and continuing a mindfulness practice.
Mindfulness has been connected to reduced stress, improve well-being, improve physical health and improve mental health. Organizations are implementing mindfulness programs to improve staff morale, improve employee efficiency & productivity, decrease human resource infractions and improve creativity. Schools are implementing mindfulness to improve self-esteem, decrease bullying, improve concentration, improve mental health, improve physical health and reduce stress of both students and teachers.
