Fresh Look On Life -- Come in and meet a better you...

Purrs N' Pups, a NJ based "foster care animal shelter" has been responsible for saving countless animals from shelters in the southern U.S. that would otherwise not be given the opportunity to live.  Alissa is reaching out to other animal lovers to ask them to commit to a short 1 or 2 week time period to foster an animal and give them a chance to live.  PLEASE DO NOT MISUNDERSTAND the concept of Purrs N' Pups.  They are SAVING these animals from various shelters in the Southern United States.  The volunteers take the animals into their homes and care for them until a good home can be found.I received the following e-mail from Alissa Schmid, the Director:HelloWe would love if you would join us in our mission with saving animals.  We provide everything, the food, the leashes, crates, bowls, and any medical care they need (as long as it is approved by the P'nP directors).  This is the way that it works; shelters from down south (mainly WV, VA, and GA) contact us with animals that they are putting to sleep during that week to see if we have any room and if there are any pups they have that we can help with.  We try and find available foster homes who will take 1-2 (or sometimes more if they are able) pups in for a period of 1-2 weeks.  The foster homes pick up the pups and just love them and care for them for the week!  These pups are sometimes under-socialized or scared and it is just AMAZING to watch them come out of their shells and turn into happy little puppies.  The only other responsibility would be to transport your pups to our adoption events (typically Riverdale or Rockaway, NJ) or to a location where another member of P'n P can pick up the pups.  If this sounds like something you are interested in, please let us know.  If you have any other questions, please ask!  Remember without foster homes your adoptive friend would not be here, give that gift to another family.  Help us rescue puppies, dogs, cats, and kittens and help them get HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS!   Please help!  There is a transport coming from two high kill shelters in GA to the PetSmart in Rockaway on Saturday at 7:30pm.  Please let me know if you are able to help  and how many you are able to take!!!  There are moms and pups, pregnant dogs, litters, pairs and singles.....adults, etc!!  There are so many lives to save and they all have so little time left!! See some of the ones we want to save below!!  They are in a shelter with NO heat living in the teens at nighttime, some of them have even been housed outside : (  THERE ARE OVER 90 DOGS SCHEDULED TO BE PUT TO SLEEP BY FRIDAY AM!!!  PLEASE HELP! TIME IS OF THE ESSENCE, PLEASE HELP US, HELP THEM!!!!  Let us know ASAP!Let's help these babies get home for the holidays....they deserve a happy life and a chance for a future Alissa SchmidDirectorPurrs N PupsPS - I am sending this request to everyone in my address book.
